Chef/Owner David Wiesner of Siena Bistro has worked in the restaurant industry for more than three decades. Owning and operating his own restaurant was a lifelong dream and in 2007 he made it a reality. His culinary career began when he worked his way up from cook to sous chef. David then went on to become a server, floor manager, restaurant manager and finally the chef/owner at Siena Bistro in Willow Glen, CA.
Serving a wide selection of salads, and pastas are offered with delicate, yet mouth watering flavors. Our friendly staff will help you decide between house favorites such as our fresh salmon, sole almandine, Bourbon Stout Braised Short Rib Dijon-glazed salmon served on a plank of cedar wood and our unbeatable beet salad.
Well researched California and Mediterranean wines, are the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Brioche Bread Pudding, Warm Chocolate Cake with Caramel Sea Salt Gelato, Tiramisu or any of our house-made desserts is always a perfect ending to your dining experience.
Chef/Owner David is passionate about the restaurant industry and thrives within the four walls of Siena Bistro, because that’s where he his creativity and friendly approach are able to shine. In his cooking, David relies on both traditional favorites as well as new twists on old ideas, using high-quality ingredients that are locally sourced and sustainable, when possible. It’s a vocation and an avocation that enables him to make patrons smile, relax and feel like they are always at home, because when he is working in his restaurant, he feels like he’s at home!
