We had our son and new daughter in law's wedding rehearsal dinner for 40 on the patio. David met with me to plan the menu and choose the wines.  It was just the personal touch I was craving after looking into private rooms in hotels and huge restaurants in downtown San Jose. 

Our food was excellent as was the service!  And David's personal mingling with our guests made them all feel very much at home and welcome.

Today was the 6th Annueal Clipped Wings Christmas Party. The food was delicious as usual and David is a perfect host. His wait staff called in sick today and David and his helper handled the many patrons beautifully without a complaint. He is amazing and has established his restaurant as the place to go for a special occasion.

His Sunday brunch is delicious also.

This place is a great spot for dinner as it has a lot of wonderful selections and very decent prices. It was a website that is very useful. I came with a party of 6 and my table was ready before by reservation time and the service was wonderful. The owner, David stopped by the table to make sure everything was to our liking and made us feel important. You have to know about this restaurant or you may never know it is there.

I highly recommend it. All 6 of us had different dinners and we were all happy. They also have a good selection of wines and desserts

We chose to eat here for Christmas Eve. There were several tables of regulars dining at the same time, so the restaurant overall felt like a warm family dining room. We were treated as well as any regulars.

The food was delicious, with several interesting options for vegetarians beyond just pasta, and a more complete menu than most restaurants offer on Christmas Eve (no prix fixe menu). The braised short ribs with bourbon stout glaze were rich and delicious, as was the veggie risotto.

A must-have is the cheesy garlic bread - outstanding! Also, the standard garlic vinaigrette salad dressing was delicious and well suited to the salad.

We had a lovely celebration and are looking forward to our next visit

In a valley of over-priced factory food, this fabulous local Willow Glen benefits from the daily oversight of owner / Chef Dave and offers up some of the freshest menu items at truly reasonable prices. The Tuesday and Wednesday night standing dinner special for two is an outstanding value.

Loved Siena Bistro. My friend took me out here on a little dinner date and we loved it! We shared the Warm Brie Salad, which was mouthwatering uhhmazzing. Everything complimented one another deliciously.

I had the Chicken Marsala, which I really enjoyed. A cute hidden gem in Willow Glen, great for a romantic date or just a delicious dinner. Would dress somewhat dressy, especially for dinner. Can't wait to be back.

They also have specials on certain weekdays, I believe Wed nights.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday night for our monthly date night. I'm a hairstylist in Willow Glen and this place was highly recommended to me by clients. I was already made aware that they were located behind Lincoln Avenue and was accessible by Minnesota. They have large signs on Minnesota making it easier to find. Parking was easy, even for a Saturday night! The patio is beautiful and has a great vibe.

The décor of the inside was very clean, simple and classic Italian. It's small with a large bar located in the center. They only serve beer and wine, but the selection was good with reasonable prices. We ordered the Pear and Gorgonzola flatbread to start. It was amazing!! Such great flavors.

We were fighting for pieces and ate everything off of the plate. He had the Rib Eye special and I had the Butternut Squash Risotto. Both were delicious. His Rib Eye was huge! One pound. So we definitely took it to go. He had the Tiramisu for dessert and I had the double chocolate peanut butter gelato. YUM! During dinner the owner/head chef came by to check in on us. He was very friendly, but didn't hover around for too long, which is appreciated. It made us feel great to support a small business in the area. It shows that Dave the owner cares about his customers and the food and flavors he produces.

We will definitely be back! Hopefully next time we can get a spot on the patio! ;-)

I had been wanting to go to Siena Bistro for a while but somehow never found the right occasion. My husband arranged a surprise birthday party for me at this place with a couple of our friends. It was a lovely evening, spent with awesome people and the food was definitely great. They had a good wine selection.

I had the Duck with Mushroom Ragout which was delicious. The duck was cooked well and melted in the mouth. The pasta complimented the duck very well. There was a variety of dishes ordered by us ranging from lamb, sole to salads.

Everything was delicious and very well prepared.

Last night was one of those OMG food moments that you really only get a few times in your life. Siena Bistro rocked it for me and my girls when we hit the place around 6 pm last night.

The Chef and owner himself came out and told us the specials and I went with the sole almandine and my friends all had pasta. It was amazing and we’ll be back soon.

I’ve been to all of the restaurants in Willow Glen and Siena is def numero one!
